Honking in Vietnam Equals Safety

Living in California were used to viewing honking at other drivers on the road as something disruptive, rude and maybe even vulgar but in Vietnam honking equals safety. With all the cars and motorbikes on narrow roads it is important to alert motorbikes and pedestrians that you are coming through to prevent collisions.
