Prayer Emphasis for the day: International Students

Scripture: “The LORD watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.” Psalm 146:9

Corporate Prayer: Lord Jesus, we thank you for everyone you have brought to FPU, including students from other countries around the globe. On this day, we pray that you may give them special comfort and a deep sense of your presence. Provide for them a network of friends and acquaintances who can be their surrogate family away from home. Ease their sense of estrangement and solitude, and calm any anxieties they may have from not being able to be with their family to help it face this pandemic. May they (re)discover You as their Heavenly Father who loves and cares for them. Amen.

Personal Prayer: Please spend a few minutes in prayer for international students who are here at FPU or at other universities, and who are unable to be with their families during these unsettling and isolating times.

Énfasis de la oración del día: Por los estudiantes internaciones

La palabra de Dios dice: “El señor protege al extranjero y sostiene al huérfano y a la viuda, pero frustra los planes de los impíos”. Salmo 146.9

Oración de todos: Señor Jesús, te damos gracias por cada una de las personas que haz enviado a FPU incluyendo a los estudiantes de otros países del mundo. En este día, oramos para que les des serenidad y que sientan tu presencia. Dales, Señor la cadena de comunicación para que con sus amigos y/o conocidos encuentren compañía lejos de sus hogares en medio de esta pandemia. Alivia Señor, los sentimientos de sentirse en soledad y el de extrañar a sus seres queridos; de igual manera calma sus ansiedades por estar lejos de sus países. Esperando que estos estudiantes te encuentren como su padre del cielo que los ama y los protege. Amén.

Oración personal: Por favor de tomase unos minutos en oración por los estudiantes internacionales de FPU y de otras universidades que se encuentran aquí y no pueden estar con sus familias en este tiempo de contingencia y de aislamiento.
