Prayer Emphasis for the day: Pastors and Local Churches

Scripture: “Be responsive to your pastoral leaders. Listen to their counsel. They are alert to the condition of your lives and work under the strict supervision of God. Contribute to the joy of their leadership.” Hebrews 13:17 (MSG)

Corporate Prayer: Lord Jesus, we thank you for those who have given themselves, to your work, through serving as leaders of our churches. We pray that you will sustain them—spiritually, emotionally, physically, even financially, as they seek to encourage and care for so many who are struggling during this pandemic. May you give them wisdom in the various decisions they make concerning our congregations. May you give them a vision of how to most fruitfully be the church during this difficult season. May you give them power as they serve as your representatives and mouthpieces. May you give them energy, equal to the task. May they sense the presence of your Spirit, working through them, in the weeks and months to come. Amen.

Personal Prayer: Please spend a few minutes in prayer for your pastor(s) and other church leaders.

La palabra de Dios dice: “Obedezcan a sus dirigentes y sométanse a ellos, pues cuidan de ustedes como quienes tienen que rendir cuentas. Obedézcanlos a fin de que ellos cumplan su tarea con alegría y sin quejarse, pues el quejarse no les trae ningún provecho”. Hebreos 13:17

Oración de todos: Señor Jesús, te damos gracias por aquellos que se han entregado a ti, ya que hacen tu trabajo mediante el liderazgo en tus iglesias. Oramos para que tú los sostengas: espiritual, emocional, física y financieramente. Ya que los pastores estarán apoyando y cuidando a tu rebaño en esta lucha durante de la pandemia. Que tu sabiduría esté presente en las decisiones que les inquiete de sus congragaciones. Señor, concédeles visión para que fructuosamente manejen tu iglesia en estos momentos difíciles. También, dales poder para continúen sirviendo y representando para que sean tu portavoz. De la misma manera, otórgales energía para que cumplan con sus deberes. Que tus espíritu se haga presente y trabaje en ellos, en las semanas y meses que están por venir. Amén.
