Day 15 – Faith

Day 15 – Faith

Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel.

Isaiah 7:14, NIV

Faith is not something that you can see or touch, but it is the confidence of knowing that the Lord is always with us and that we are never alone. This Scripture is a beautiful demonstration in which a message of hope was shared by the declaration that Immanuel (meaning “God is with us”) will be born unto this world and will be a blessing to all. Faith offers hope for the future and sustains us during the best and worst of times. It is a blessing that we have the opportunity to strengthen our faith each and every day.

Prayer Guide:

  1. We are always faced with situations in which we need to rely on our faith to make it through. Please take a moment to consider how you might nurture and strengthen your faith in the Lord and in Christ’s teachings.
  2. In our everyday interactions we have many chances to share our faith with others, how might you be able to share your faith?
  3. Please take a moment to thank God for the times when faith has supported your life’s journey and the journey of those around you.
