Parents of college students know it can be difficult to find the perfect outing for the whole family. However, Fresno Pacific University is hosting just the thing! Each April, FPU hosts the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) relief sale. This event is the perfect destination for families looking for a budget-conscious outing which supports a great cause.

Fresno pacific University’s campus will be transformed into a lively fairground atmosphere April 1-2, 2016. The center of campus will be full of vendors selling books, collectibles, jewelry, plants, art, wall hangings, and more. There will also be vendors selling a variety of delicious foods including tri-tip sandwiches, ice cream, tacos, funnel cakes, falafels, and zwieback. And as usual, the student lounge, game room, and coffee shop will be open for visitors.

In addition to all the fun and food, there will be a handmade quilt auction. All proceeds from the event go to the MCC relief fund. In previous years, this event has raised over $200,000 to promote justice, prevent violence, and provide food, water, and shelter for those who are most vulnerable. Why not treat your family to a great outing and support a wonderful cause? We hope to see you there!
